Why don't PE&A hold MT&TU/W09 this year before the end of November. Venezuela crowns its rep to MW more than a year in advance and their MU delegate usually has 9 months to prepare. I really think at the very least a screening should be scheduled for this year so we have an idea of what the playing field is going to be like for MT&T09 even if the final is held next year. I dont understand why they want to wait until each representitive go to their respective contest to chose another rep. Lets take for example Venezuela. They have been chosing their reps even before the previous one go to her internatinal pageant for years and they have been doing exceptionally well. The delegates have to be at MU09 next year by May, thats not that far away. Especially considering the month that they held MT&T this year. I think PE&A should do their best to try and pull of the screening at least by november, Select the girls they want and start grooming them for the finals. I dont totally like this one week screening and crowning thing(not that it cant work). I think there are alot of girls who may want to join the pageant but were unaware that it was going to take place because of such a short space of time and not being notified. It saves money and we don't waste alot of energy grooming ladies who will not go to any international event. However, I totally agree that we need at least 2 days of screenings that are at least one week apart.
