Subject: I don't know that I could call myself a cartel member (having never proven myself through a senseless and unproductive act of pure, unadulterated evil), but I was spouting off a bunch of crap a few months ago about Finn starting. The All Star reports are making me look bad, real bad. I just hate all the turnovers from the point guard spot. Unfortunately, it looks like Finn is decent at handling the ball, but bricks are just as bad as turnovers. I hope he can pull it together in A10 play and make real contributions in the NCAA, but I retract my "Finn will start" theory.

Division 1 is a big jump though, and asking a freshman to lead the team at the point is a tough call. His coach compared him to Jason Gardner, and I think that got some people excited. All Star games are just a snapshot, they don't tell the whole story. The snapshot looked ugly on Saturday night. Thank God for Brad's Brass Flamingo, where the ballet is a full contact sport. -- Sniper, 23:31:46 06/24/02 Mon
