Subject: Season Tickets.

I'm part of a group of season ticket holders, and I haven't actually seen the invoice for the tickets this year, but I thought I saw somewhere that the home ticket package already included a potential 2nd NIT game. What is the story behind that?

I can understand the desire to avoid having to print and sell tickets in an organized fashion if we are awarded the second game, but everything I've seen indicates this is a pretty long shot.

If we all pay for tickets now, will refund checks be processed as soon as we know we don't get the home game? I thought I saw somewhere that they were contemplating applying it as a deposit to the 03-04 season. That would make for a nice no interest loan the 8000+ season ticket holders are making to the university for a year, on top of the 'donations' the good seat holders are required to cough up on a regular basis.

I hope we get a second game and it becomes a non issue, and it does make sense to plan for success, but what happens to my cash if we don't get that game?

[> [> Andy you were not supposed to let them know any of this. We were hoping that no one had noticed this. Andy got the idea that we could charge the season ticket holders for these tickets even though we know we won't have a second round game. I approved it because I wanted to see if we could pull it off. But we couldn't sneak this past BP. We'll have to get back with you on that. -- Father Graham, 14:43:13 07/25/02 Thu

[> [> [> Crud. I didn't mean to hit the post button. Fans, when I said 'back yard', I meant 'Cintas Center', and when I said 'store my 37' boat', I meant 'personally install urinal cakes in all 7 urinals' -- Andy Berry, 15:42:34 07/25/02 Thu
