Lois, the homosexual thing is going to be determined the same way that the name change was detemined and the pathetic er, uh, rophetic succession was determined.

When the name change came up, we were told that the name "Community of Christ" had been proposed, but anybody in the church was welcome to submit a suggestion. The name ended up being "Community of Christ," just as had already been predetermined.

When the change in presidents came, we were told that Steve Veazey had been nominated to become president, but that anyone else in the church could submit their own suggestion. The successor ended up being Steve Veazey, just as had already been predetermined.

There is a lot of nonsense about careful deliberation and common consent going on about a blanket approval of homosexuality, but the response is already predetermined. GALA is going to take its place alongside the "Chambered Sisters of Charity" as one of the historic shames of the Restored Church.

Any church that breaks off from the CofC is eventually going to present itself as having been founded after Steve Veazey's administration to avoid connection with this monumental debacle, just as the CofC doesn't want to be associated with Joseph Smith, Jr. and his "Chamber Sisters"

George
