Journeying Toward a USA National Conference
BY THE USA APOSTOLIC TEAM

Q: Has church leadership already determined the outcome on issues of same-gender marriage and ordaining people in same-gender relationships?

A: No, church leadership is committed to discernment leading to the USA National Conference. This process will include spiritual practices, dialogue, scripture reflection, and study of credible resources that provide multiple perspectives on human sexuality and healthy, faithful, and committed relationships.

I don't believe that. Does anybody reading this believe that?

What would happen if all our relationships expressed …Christ-like love

by LINDA BOOTH, Council of Twelve Apostles

(Commentary by Lois)

In this article Linda Booth is so very “patiently and lovingly” (that’s sarcasm, people) expounding upon the following homosexual agenda verses from the bogus Section 164.
------

"As revealed in Christ, God, the Creator of all, ultimately is concerned about behaviors and relationships that uphold the worth and giftedness of all people and that protect the most vulnerable. Such relationships are to be rooted in the principles of Christ-like love, mutual respect, responsibility, justice, covenant, and faithfulness, against which there is no law.

If the church more fully will understand and consistently apply these principles, questions arising about responsible human sexuality; gender identities, roles, and relationships; marriage; and other issues may be resolved according to God’s divine purposes. Be assured nothing within these principles condones selfish, irresponsible, promiscuous, degrading, or abusive relationships. —Doctrine and Covenants 164:6a–b"
------

There are pictures of Linda with some sweet little girls. What is she going to teach them about human sexuality? There are also two pictures of other happy people.

She even takes the opportunity to drag her daughter-in-law through the muck. Gee, how very Christ-like!! What happened to "she without sin cast the first stone"? Has anybody ever heard the expression “there are two sides to every story”? I wouldn't want to be her daughter-in-law.

I personally think that Linda Booth should apologize publically (in the Herald and on their c-not-of-c website) to her daughter-in-law. This would also be a good opportunity for Linda to resign as apostle and spend some quality time with her family instead of spending her energy promoting the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender agenda.

Community of Christ 2002 World Conference Bulletin pp. 75-78

H-8 Interfaith Relations Committee Report

(H-8) "The most troublesome text for the Christian community regarding other religious traditions is to be found in Acts 4:12. This text makes exclusive claims to salvation through Jesus Christ and him alone. This text has tended to foster prejudice toward not only Jews but all other religious claims as well because of its exclusivity. This text is best understood within the context of the sermon preached by Peter in the company of John and others. It should not be universalized and become a framework for either missional or theological purposes."
