Well, it looks like there is a good chance that we will have a 13-team league this year. So, some changes will have to be made. Each team will play 12 regular season games, playing each team in the league once. Each team will also have 1 bye week. The only other option would be to complex system of double-headers, where each week would consist of either 2 or 5 regular games and 1 or 3 "three-way" games which would count as 2 games in the standings for each team involved. That's probably a bit too close to calculus, as it would be rather confusing to track standings and map out playoff scenarios, and it would take me more than a few minutes to make a fair schedule.

So basically, we're looking at a 13-week schedule with 12 games and a bye. The question is what to do with the extra week. Here are the options, as I see them:

1. Expand the playoffs to 4 teams, with a playoff ladder system. #4 vs #3 in week 14. Winner plays #2 in week 15, with the winner of that playing #1 in the RhitTaker Bowl. Any expansion of the playoffs beyond 4 teams is simply not an option.

2. Add in an off week into the mix somewhere in the season.

3. Extend the RhitTaker Bowl to 2 weeks.

Anyway, this is something we need to resolve quickly.
