Hi Det, excellent work on the site. I'm so proud of you! From what I saw on other threads, I gather you saw a taping of the show. True? Which episode? Was it fun?

I thought the Scully cancer story line was excellent. It made that season more connected. It was a logical progression from her abduction. The solution in Redux may have been too convenient, but over all I liked it. The pregnancy seems soap and one wonders where it can go if she's carrying the show but at least something connects the episodes now (this & the search for Mulder). This may all come off lame, I must say Biogenesis had me excited last year and Sixth Extinction part 1 was still good but part 2 disappointed me and so did most of S7.

Where CC has gone wrong was the 2 fathers/1 Son story. The myth arc was getting dragged out already but this pulled out the rug from under us. There always seemed to be more to the conspiracy, it kept building but at a certain point I guess there was no more to build. Biogenesis went on a different tagent and EnAmi was great but not enough myth arc this year. Requiem felt like getting back to square one which is what it needs. I also didn't like the sister conclusion. The sister and the syndicate both were ended anti-climatically.

M & S were tight in this ep, her visiting his room was like the paniced Scully running over in the pilot. I think the Lone Gunmen show could be cool but Fox may not give it a chance excepting X-Files numbers from it. I think Skinner might have a bigger role and be the "partner". Did you hear otherwise? I heard Stephen Rea a long time ago. CSM will be back alive. He's got alien stuff in him to save himself. Krycek didn't even check for a pulse, the dope!
