At long last, hairytoes, we don't see eye-to-eye on an episode.

I really don't think Mulder was worried about Scully the same way she worries about him. He may very well have been angry that she made him worry, but isn't that pretty selfish? Instead of looking at it from Scully's point of view - whether or not going off without him was a smart thing to do is another issue (remember, he does it to her all the time, and she *was* actually trying to tell him) - it's centered around Mulder. "How dare Scully make ME worry!" as if she has nothing better to do with her time, and as if everything is about HIM.

When Scully worries about Mulder she is more concerned with what she can do to help him than she is with her own feelings. Very different motivations there.

Considering how many times Mulder has been suckered in and used, he seemed to be acting awfully high-n-mighty toward Scully (my hero).

Don't get me wrong - I thought it was a very powerful scene and there was so much going on that was left unsaid. Really terrific acting, especially by GA. I just also happen to think Mulder was being a real shithead. But I loved it!

krh, who has actually come a long way from not liking Mulder at all!
