YOu may be right about the Never Again thing with the writers. Sounds pretty spot on to me. Also she was probably all spaced out about her cancer and just chose the desk thing to whinge about.

Another thing I have wondered about was.........
knowing that outside Mulder's office is a long corridor filled with filling cabinets etc.......we have a good look at this in Triangle with that camera following directing. Also in Biogenisis we get a good look at it.

It is a long corridor and I was wondering if Scully's area in the back there has a door of it's own into the corridor. And I wonder if that door has Scully's name on it.
The reason why I wonder is because in Alpha at the end, Scully was on her way home. She arrived at Mulder's doorway carrying the poster and her briefcase and coat. She came from the left side of the doorway and was on her way to the lift to the right of the doorway. She must have come from somewhere. Maybe the other area. Why she wouldn't walk through the direct door into Mulder' s office is beyond me if this was the case.

Does she have her own office up the corridor or does she just dump her coat etc up the other end of it? If she came from the lift she would already have this stuff in her hands and so why would she come from the left side? Is there another lift? Why didn't she stop and talk to Mulder on her way past to get her stuff? Why only talk to him on her way past his door the second time? I thought this last scene in Alpha was strange and I have wondered about it for a while. I never mentioned it because it seems very petty and picky and not at all important but as I've said before, I can't stand mysteries and secrets no matter how petty they may be. Any ideas?
