I feel the wonder of the Stones is not that they seem to be "gone", but that they're NOT gone! At their age they need to do like the rest of us and retire...maybe to the golf course, or something...and leave the music to those who can still cut it.

It seems like every time they call it quits, Mick calls them all back for one more round. Is the ghost of Brian driving him on??? Perhaps the memory of his long-ago mentor's fight for the music is making Mick think he has to keep going until he drops on the stage to justify his abhorrent actions back when Brian died.

But then...maybe I'm bonkers, and he's just an obsessed idiot. Yuk, yuk, yuk! :)
