The recent anniversary of Brian's death had me thinking, once again, about what could have happened to him.
The drug death theory has been pretty much discredited, so we can dispense with that one.
Some people believe that he committed suicide. I don't believe that it is possible to simply drown yourself on purpose any more than it is possible to commit suicide by holding your breath. Which is, when you come down to it, essentially the same thing.
I have always had trouble with the murder theory, for two main reasons: 1) Brian was a small man, but by all accounts, he was strong. Plus he was a very good swimmer. Even if taken by surprise, he would have fought back and this would have made a racket. 2) Unless he was either an habitual killer or the coldest blooded man on the planet, or both, Frank's behaviour just isn’t that of a man who had just killed, whether accidentally (the horseplay theory) or on purpose. The (admittedly imprecise and conflicting) reports are that he just casually walked into the house looking for a towel and a cigarette. I just can't reconcile that with a man who had just killed someone.
My own theory (and that's all it is, a theory) is that he suffered the same sort of fainting spell that sound engineer George Chiantz witnessed in Morocco. At the time, Suki told GC that Brian "does this all the time" (not an exact quote, but that's the gist of it) and that all he had to do was sleep it off and he'd be fine. What if he fainted in the pool with nobody there to get him out?
Anyone else wants to jump in with their own theory?

Hopefully someone can go on there and take out the false statement founding member being Keith and put Brian's name in there as being the founding member and /or contact Wikipedia and correct them on who the real founding member of the stones really was.

Here's an article that Anita did last year about her role in Performance,she talks about A Degree of Murder but no mention of Brian at all! and she was talking about how Keith didn't like her doing the sex scenes with Mick and how Keith didn't need to worry as nothing happened that she's a One Man lady! One Man Lady? i thought that if a woman was a one man lady that they didn't mess around or have affairs-I guess that the morrocco incident in the back of a bentley (shit happens)and splitting on Brian doesn't count? she said that Micks role of Turner was based on Brian.here's the article:

Yesterday my bf and I went to Prestbury to see Brian Jones grave. It also happened to be the 39th anniversary of his murder / death. We found a memorial book in a 2008 diary for visitors to sign. A lot of the entries were by a "Mama" I was just wondering if anyone knows who this person might be? I'm not convinced it's his mother, but I might be wrong!! Many thanks and long live BJ x

Well in a few hours or a day, it will be time for Brian Jones to think about
the terrible tragedy that happened almost 40 years ago. It is very often
hard for me to look at his resting place, the pictures of him when he was
alive and sometimes Cotchford Farm. I feel mostly happy when I look at
pictures of CF because it is so beautiful, tranquil, and quiet. (I also got a
kick of out seeing 2 satellite dishes Mr. John has on the roof)
I can only say I am glad I was a teen in the Sixties and was here when BJ
was. Sure would be nice if I could put something beautiful on his grave.
It has been almost impossible to forget that terrible event, I have thought
about it almost continuously since it happened. But hopefully Trevor and
his investigators will finally solve this mystery of who did what once and for
all. RIP Brian WE LOVE YOU!!

This is just a strange experience I had once..Roxanne had invited me to play on one of her recordings, and we were rehearsing in her bedroom. There was a little framed picture of Brian on her table and it fell over. I wnet in my pocket and took out a little gideon Bible someone had given me when My Girlfriend had died a few months previously and opened it a t random and it opened at Psalm 69, which seemed strange as Brian Had died in 1969. It said,"Oh God save me for the waters come up to my lips, I am sinking in deep mire and there is nowhere for me to stand. They who hate me without a reason are more numerous than the hairs on my head'...It goes on, so I just thought Id share this with you all, you can find it in any New Testament..Hope everyone got through July 3 OK..Love, Peace Understanding and Rock and Roll,

Today Fans will be gathering together at Brian's grave to remember and commemorate the passing of the Rolling Stones founder then afterwards a get together for lunch and music -Man I would have loved to be there but I will be there in spirit,Today I will be thinking about Brian as it is going to be a special day because Brian is being remembered-God bless you all who are there for Brian and to all Brian fans who can't make it there-I know all of you will thinking of Brian today in his memory and are there in spirit like myself.WE"RE THINKING OF YOU TODAY BRIAN!:)
