There was talk of a tour and there was talk of a new album, but I guess all of that has been put on hold now that Sir Mick has instead elected to record with a new band. God only knows what is going on with these guys, if anything. I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with something big for the band's 50th anniversary next year. Elementary decency would require them to acknowledge the band's founder (and no Keith, that's not Ian Stewart!). But I'm not holding my breath.

IMO the band's last brilliant album was Some Girls. For anyone who doesn't know or remember, it came out in the summer of 1978, 33 years ago.
