I've been watching this post for several days, waiting for that "activity" you mentioned, but all I'm seeing is Bernie talking to himself again. I dearly love him, but each of his 3 posts here sounds like a different individual. I thought it might be fun to hear from a TRUELY different individual! LOL!!

I was watching the BIO channel the other day...the same one that cropped Brian out of an old vintage photo of the Stones...and they were doing a shot on Phil Spector, a one time hottest record producer in the business. I guess he killed some poor has-been actress in his home a while back? Well, since he was a personage who passed me in the night some 45 years ago (he sat across from me in Cantor's restaurant at 2:00 am...wearing sunglasses, of all things) I decided to watch the report of how he murdered this poor woman. In the process, they showed him with many of the big names in the business...including the Rolling Stones.

What was interesting about the shot was that the narrator never mentioned the band, but the shot started out as a close-up of Phil being hugged by Mick and Keith, with Charley off to their right. These were the 3 Stones any young person today would recognize. They then started to pull back the view on the photo and just lapped on them Bill Wyman came into view. He would be recognized by about half the Stone's fans today...the older ones in their 40's. It was a lousy shot, and they all looked sort of gruesome. Oddly, the view continued to pull back. A gap of what would have been about a foot in real life appeared, then a shot glass with a small hand on it loomed out of the void. I thought to myself, "are they actually going to SHOW him this time???", being as Brian and booze went hand in hand. Then, to my amazement, the arm began to connect to a body and voila! There was Brian, looking sweet and shy, smirking at the camera like he was thinking "What am I DOING with these guys?" He looked so childlike and innocent that the shot glass in his hand seemed an aberation. He also was the only person in the shot who didn't LOOK like he'd been drinking too much! Appearances are deceiving.

The shot was quickly expunged from the screne after that, but I wondered how many young Stones fans were watching that documentary and wondered "who's THAT dude?"
