They might remember me. When I was working at Borders back in 2003 or 04, my assistant manager, who was a dick that no one could stand, was invited to the Stones concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver due to connections his wife had with some local politico. He was bragging all over the store that he had VIP passes and a meet and greet before the show. So I sidled up to him and mentioned that he should tell Mick Firdsi said hello should he get the chance. He was all "yeah sure" but apparently he did get the chance coz he came to work the next day all befuddled and told a group of us that he did give Mick the message, and Mick broke into a grin and said something like "Firdsi! How the hell is she?" And that Mick said hello back to me and why wasnt I at the show. After that the little troll never ceased asking me questions about the band, then a year later when he became manager, he fired me. Doesnt it just figure? Anyway I was ready to leave that sinking ship and got a far better job.
