Hi Child Of The Moon:

I believe the pics were taken at the Courtfield Rd (Manchester) location (mid to late 1966). Gered never mentioned what instrument Brian was playing(which album recording etc...) when he was propped up in the studio. I cannot recall anything else really. If I remember anything else I will share.
