Everybody brought up some salient points..The remark about "Self Medicating" brought up a lot of my own addictions, which Ive been recovering from for the past 20 years..I dont want to be full of "Doom and Gloom".Sometimes Mick and Keith seem so silly but calculating, Ive known a lot of singers who could outdo Mick when given a chance and a lot of guitar players who could out play Keith, mostly Female and I love them all dearly and they all influenced me more than anyone and taught me a lot, even our own Roxanne, who I miss hearing from and hasnt popped up since she got flowers for Brian's Grave last July..ive seen all these singers and guitar players headline some of the biggest places in New York..In the Rolling Stones Defense, I will say Id much rather see or hear them than Most Metal,"Rock" punk and hardcore especially Because theyre the originals, like Mc Cartney,and Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley,and The Beach Boys, Supremes,et al..they really have a lot of what stars hould have, Charisma, honesty, rhythm, Blues, and talent especially,and I love them for kicking authority in the teeth and always being themselves, both bad and good, like all people.
