Sorry about that WJO. The "tsking" was a blanket statement about the several posts here, so don't get your panties in a bunch because this happened to appear below your individual post.

Everyone has a different idea about what love and marriage is all about, depending on how they were raised. If you think mine is "antiquated", so be it, but at my age it hardly matters anyway! ;) (wink) I was referring to giving up the "freedom" of not looking at every person you see as a possible mate or (as in Brian's case) bed partner. My own parents went places separately all the time, so the "stifling" relationship you refer to isn't what I was talking about at all. I also feel you need to trust your spouse, and Brian always questioned the motives of his lady friends - eg. "Does she love ME, or the Rock Star?" It doesnt' look like any of his sellected lovers gave him any feeling of confidence in this matter.
