Actually mine was done due to uterine cancer. I would never have just had the thing ripped out for shits and giggles. To be on the safe side, they took it all, theres nothing left in there. But I never lost my sex drive, except for the fact theres no one out there who interests me!
I have found though, that Im a lot more together, more centered, and have developed a sort of empathic thing. Its kind of eerie, and my psychic abilities have grown, although Im still totally incapable of telling if something is a psychic flash or not beforehand. I only realise after the fact that I had that premonition. Too bad, I could solve my unemployment problem if I could farm myself out as a psychic!
