What a closed little club you are! You say awful things to Teardrop, who, incidentally, is someone Ive never met, but have corresponded with for some time, and who has been nothing but kind. The way you treat her is appalling!
Me? I dont care. Im made from pretty stern stuff, am likely older than most of you, and have lived a pretty wild life.
I first came here and was immediately jumped on. Why? Because I actually knew someone you folks can only dream about? You doubted my veracity. Fine, I expected that, no problem there. But then you demanded proof. Hate to tell you but the only way I can give you proof, and I do have proof, is by inviting you into my home and showing it to you. Thats hardly possible, now isnt it? I refused to tell you the name I was known by in 60s London. Thats pretty much my perogative, for whatever reasons I choose to have, paramount of which is privacy.
Now you take the things Im willing to share and demean them. You people make no sense!
I made promises to friends never to reveal certain things. Weird, isnt it? Have none of you ever done the same? My god, how uncharitable of me not to just unload this stuff to a bunch of people I will never ever meet face to face. People who could sell this stuff if they saw fit, and embarrass people I made promises to. No, Im really a terrible person to hold friendship higher than gossip. For thats all this board really is, just a place to share and speculate about a bunch of gossip.
And what will it get you in the end anyway? The Sussex CID is never going to reopen the case, Brian is never going to come back, and the only people who really deserve to know what happened are his children, grandchildren, and other close family. The rest of you are just fans, endlessly regurgitating what information you glean from books. Books Ive never read and never will, because I had what none of you ever will: the opportunity to have known Brian Jones.
If you refuse to play nice, Ill just leave, which would probably be applauded by a few of you. Ive raised my children, I dont need to play in the sandbox any more.
