Oh, OK. I always think of the "Unholy Trinity" as a phrase associated with Bill, because that is the title of one of his chapters in Stone Alone. It most likely was used by a number of people around the band. As to who actually came up with the name, your guess is as good as mine.

As for Ian not liking the music, I read somewhere (where?) that he refused to play on any song he didn't like. You'll notice that he doesn't play a single note on TSMR. He was the first to answer Brian's ad looking for blues musicians so obviously it is a type of music that spoke to him. He sure could play that boogie woogie piano! RIP Ian.
