I don't believe that is correct, both fan clubs were going on at the same time. Reynolds shut his fan club down, I guess it was no longer profitable or he wasn't a fan any more.
Both fan clubs used to have cemetery gatherings on different days.
I'm curious why no one chose to gather on July 2, as it is a Saturday and it is pretty much the correct date of Brian's death?
