I know for a fact that most web-sites are not too expensive to keep up as long as you pay for the yearly contract. It shouldn't be costing you by volumn of those who post there or even open it up. The only bad thing is if you don't pay the yearly contract after so many months then your web domain name is sold and that can be pretty pricey to get back. The way around that is to make a new domain name and just use the same web info.
