His grave was in a deplorable state and I'm glad you cleaned it up! Less is definitely more in this case. I've been to the cemetery twice and it was never in that condition.....just some fresh flowers in the vases provided and a few tiny pots of dead flowers right in front of the stone. I threw the pots away, but they were nowhere near as large as the ones in the photo above! If it keeps up someone with the authority may decide to put a fence around it... and I would hate to see that happen.
