Ta hell with diamonds. Seriously.

I say screw all the virus and malware stuff because it doen't work most of the time and you have to pay for it.

Your computer should back it's shite up every 24 hours. You don't have to download anything or even visit a questionable website. There is some BS out there now that you just visit wherever and now it's telling you it's going do some booshizz scan on whatever and it won't let you access the internet. Yadayadayada. Just unplug your laptop and chuck out the battery. Then you plug the thing back in and before it boots up, keep hitting either the F2 or F8 key, I can't remember. Just google "system restore" for your OS before you need it and remember the instructions.

Save your photos and docs online. Google docs (get a gmail account), photobucket, your own website - whatever. That way, no matter what happens to your machine, you can still access your stuff online.

System restore has saved my personal azz more times than I can count.
