Hmmmm. Well, I really loved ELO, though a lot of people thought them to be a "dismal" band. They started out with Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne wanting to add their cello playing into the rock and roll mix. Brian was a cello player, so he may have at least understood where they were coming from. After their first album, Roy sort of felt "been there, done that" and wanted to move on, but Jeff wanted to develope it fully. My favorite record of the 70's was "A New World Record", but a lot of folks turned up their nose at it.

In the Blues genre, I can't get enough of Barry White! I've heard of Basso Profundos, but yikes!! Heck, he makes Warf the Klingon sound like a soprano!! James Erle Jones, eat your heart out!!
