but the later seasons got into repetition, lame sub-plots and being stuck in their conceit. Too much happens in an hour than could happen in real life, Jack can go from walking out on the camp to the US embassey in the capital in record time. More gov't conpsiracies and double crosses. I see Fox was hoping for a Hillary victory or since they did a black president, they went with a woman this time (I thought Palmer's little brother was president? Did he die in S6?).

I liked that this was very Jack centric. That's about the only time the show works. I say, make it all Jack on the job and skip any romance/comedy/gov't infighting sub-plots. I'm also glad they highlighted the real life problems in many African countries, my wife couldn't watch because she can't stand to see children in danger (adults are OK). I might chjeck out the beginning of S7 but they are on a short leash. First dumb move & I bail.
