IG, if you had seen Charlie's first flashback episode, you would know that he is a former devout Catholic who felt great guilt over the lifestyle he had embraced during his time as a "rock star." He begged his brother, who was also in the band, to quit with him if it ever got out of hand, but when it did his brother was caught up in the lifestyle and wouldn't back out. Then the band broke up and Charlie's brother went off and made a life of himself, getting married and having a child, but Charlie was left a heroin addict and ruined.

There was a brother/sister relationship, but it wasn't very normal or healthy. Shannon and Boone were actually step sister and brother, and Boone was in love with her. She used him on more than one occassion to get money and then one night she got drunk and seduced him. Boone started out pretty upstanding on the island, but then he turned into some sort of creepy disciple of Locke's so I got over him quick. Pretty face though.

Sayid and Shannon spent a lot of time just sort of sitting by the fire and walking around with each other and such, and in the episode where Boone died Sayid led her to a secluded part of the desert with a blanket and torches and they had a little picnic. They never said if they slept together but they didn't come back until the next morning, so who knows?

I liked the finale, but I would have liked better if more questions were answered. I need to know about that monster/security system!
