Det, I understand that Claire was already pregnant when they got to the island. However, judging by the flashbacks, Charlie was apparently big into having casual sex with his groupies. My theory was more along the lines of: Maybe Claire had been one of the groupies and he simply didn't remember her from their drug-clouded one-night stand nine months previously.
So Sayid and Shannon are definitely a couple? What exactly does that mean in the context of this show? Are they sleeping together or just kind of holding hands and kissing and stuff or what? (Can't really say "dating" because they can hardly go out for dinner and a movie while stranded on a desert island. )
I like Jin and Sun, too. I'm always a big fan of shows (or books, whatever) that depict married couples who have had some problems reigniting their love. Maybe she will have a baby next season; if they're going to be killing off a character in every episode, they're going to have to have at *least* one baby every season, or the island will run out people by about the third season. Also, from a purely practical perspective, one would assume that as a (now) happily-married couple they would be making love with each other on a regular basis and that, even if they were using birth control prior to landing on the island, they would probably have run out of it by this point. . .which would, presumably, mean pregnancy.
Sawyer is, ummm. . ..VERY hot!! Loved the scene where he whipped off his shirt and dove into the water! Isn't there supposed to be some sort of love (or maybe lust would be a better word) triangle involving him, Kate and the doctor dude?
I like the father/son relationship between Michael and Walt very much. Wasn't there a brother/sister relationship, too, except the brother died a few weeks ago? (Some guy named Boone, right? My daughter stomped around the house for three days, threatening not to watch the show any more, because they'd killed him off; he was her favorite character.) And, of course, now we have the mother/son relationship between Claire and Aaron.
This was the first episode I'd actually sat down and watched from start to finish. I've caught bits and pieces of other eps but, like I said, my family kept shooing me out of the room so I wouldn't jinx it.
