  • How to remove real property judgement lien on homestaed -- Dawn Steinhurst, 16:12:23 02/20/06 Mon
I have several creditors judgement liens that were filed against my homestaed in 2001 and 2002 due to a business that I owned that folded due to 911. I have since filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and final judgement was granted 9/2004. The liens that have been filed against my home were included in this bankruptcy but were filed with the county clerk record of deeds before the bankruptcy was dismissed. How do I remove these from my home using the homestead laws in Florida, at this time I am unable to refinance or receive any government loans due to these liens and I am not in any position to pay this money back?

  • Emancipation -- Allycia, 09:33:13 02/09/06 Thu
I would really appreciate it anyone could help me out with the Florida emancipation laws and how to go about all of this. My mother and my father are divorced but I know that neither of them would ever sign the paperwork. So I would like to keep the fact that I am planning this to stay very low until the time comes to fight. If I am granted the right of emancipation I would not being staying in the state of Florida (where I currently am) I would be leaving for Texas where I have a friend whose mother some what knows my situation and would be happy to have me. I am a sophomore in High School right now and I would finish school while working if I am able to go to Texas. Can anymore help me? If you want to know more about my story e-mail me at: allyciaann21@yahoo.com or if you have any advice for on what I can do I would be happy to hear from you.

  • Evict boyfriend from Fl home -- Linda, 17:59:10 11/02/05 Wed
I own a house in Florida. My boyfriend moved in 4 years ago. Everything-title, utilities, homeowners' exemption, etc is in my name. Only his drivers license & W2 shows this address. He owns nothing and pays nothing and we have never had a written or oral agreement for rent/lease/tenancy. Relationship is over and he says he will move when he gets enough money (translate: when hell freezes over). What legal papers do I need to file and with whom in order to get him out soonest?

  • Florida statutory rape -- Bill, 23:42:34 02/06/06 Mon
My friend is 23 years old and he found out that he had sex with a 16 year old. She lied about her age, and he has proof, even thought its no defense,My question is, since what he did is legal, how does law enforcement determine when the activity occured? For instance, if the girl lies and says it happend after the guy turned 24, she now being 17, How do they determine when the sex happend if the time is disputed? Do they just slap on charges? What type of case would they have if it happened 4 months ago and there was never an addmission of sexual contact by the guy? What type of evidence do they need to charge in a case like this?

  • Legal Issue -- Costa, 12:41:03 02/03/06 Fri
our board submitted a 2006 budget which was rejected by the owners. An ad-hoc finance committee was formed to prepare an alternate budget. The committee requested permission to ask the board members questions about the details of their budget. We also asked for help from our full time secretary to prepare address labels to distribute the alternate budget.
we were told that our attorney said that granting both of our requests would be illegal.I think that's bull.Is there someone that has legal knowledge that can answer this?

  • court judgement -- Charles Barr, 20:22:01 01/31/06 Tue
Small Claims Court ruled in my favor in October 'o5....other party has not paid claim and court personnel isn't able to supply me with any advice or forms to file garnishment judgement. Can I file contempt of court charges or would it be better to file writ of garnishment? Would like to do it on line or written correspondence since still trying to relocate to Florida.
