Subject: My Thoughts

I just wanted to share my initial thoughts after seeing BTM Journey today... Although this might be my imagination, I got this feeling from the very beginning (the first time I saw BTM on Journey) and didn't think anything of it until now. I have this strong feeling, at the least minimum, that all of the members of Journey (which includes Steve Perry), are holding back more information than is being shown in BTM.

Then I thought about how their music makes me feel so good and I came to the conclusion that I don't care how they might be a "bunch of liars" (if they are)... it's all about the music. If all of them had to lie, I can accept that they had to for reasons that I will never know and I will respect that they had to do what they felt was best for their situation. I can also accept the fact that they are just another typical "dysfunctional family". I know that they have to take care of certain things before they would reunite (if at all), but if they did, it's all about the music and that's the bottom line. I absolutely love Steve Perry and he needs to do what is best for his life, but it doesn't matter what kind of people they are or what is going on in their personal lives, it's all about their music (at least their music with Steve Perry before now). If they reunited, maybe the music would be different because of how things have changed and the conditions are different (timing, different type of society, less cohesive union, etc.). All I know is that I absolutely love their music from back then, no matter what exactly caused it.

I hope that in the end, everyone does what's best for their own situations and that we the fans can cope with whatever the future holds.
