is that Russia has a special agreement with Iraq for oil at a very low cost to pay for all the weapons they bought long ago.

France get low cost for oil (but not as low as Russia), and money.

Germany has sold weapons (not to long ago I think) to Iraq that they do not want to be known in details.

There are ships from Iraq that are floating in circles (I can't remember where, but it's in International waters) under radio silance (which is an International seas No-No). No one knows what is in the ships, or why they are circling around in the sea. Mmmm.....

Though the US and Britian buy oil from Iraq, the money from those sales go to the military.

If the US was going to war for Oil, why did we leave Kuiwait (which has more oil supplies than Iraq) after we stopped the oil fires. We could have stayed and set -up an agreement with the goverment to have oil sold to us at a discount for military protection from hossitle neigbors.

Us get oil from other countries other than Iraq, and from what I heard, Iraq does not sell to us the bulk of our oil needs. I think our need is in demand because one of the countries we get oil from has an oil workers strike going on right now.

Bush may not be the brightest, but he's not one to be pushed about.

Saddam will do what is good for himself. The man doesn't even believe he lost the Gulf War. If having these deadly weapons is what Saddam feels is best for him and Iraq, he will hide them at all cost (damn the World and how they feel). We know he has posioned his own people, so where is the rest of the posions? He couldn't have used them all on the Kurds. Who knows what he has tested out in the sands. My Ex boyfriend was in the Army during this time. When he came back from Kuiwait, something got on his feet that put a rash that took a very, very long time to clear up. He still doesn't know what gave him the rash.

I myself, am moot about it all. There's not enough to make a clear jugdment about this. I do know that Saddam would lie if it suits him to do so and Bush can be hot-headed and strong will.

I do know also, that something needs to be done, just don't know what and when.
