Subject: Celtic Junction Winter Feis, St. Paul, Minnesota, February 5-6, is now open for registration at www.feisfwd.com!

The Irish Dance Parents’ Association, the parent booster club for O’Shea Irish Dance, invites you to attend the Celtic Junction Winter Feis in chilly yet friendly St. Paul, Minnesota. The two-day feis will be held February 5 & 6, 2022, with champs competing on Saturday and grades competing on Sunday. The feis is limited to the first 200 paid grades, 75 paid PC, and 50 paid OC entries. Please register early if you want to secure your place. Same day registrations will be allowed if caps are not reached.

The feis is an “Old School” blackout feis. Black attire for both ladies/girls and gents/boys; no wigs, no bling, no accessories (e.g. hair clips, bows, belts), no buckles, no white tape (black tape permitted to secure laces and shoes). Just show up, dance, and have fun!

The feis will be held at the Celtic Junction, an award-winning Irish cultural center and home of O’Shea Irish Dance. Due to the size of the venue, competitions will be scheduled in blocks. Competitors will not be permitted to enter the venue until approximately 30 minutes before their scheduled competition block. Under no circumstances will competitions start before the stated start time. We promise. Competitors will be permitted one spectator. COVID protocols will be announced shortly before event based on the situation at that time; we expect that masks will be required.

View the syllabus and register online at www.feisfwd.com. This is a new feis registration platform. The Celtic Junction Winter Feis is their first event in the United States. We are excited to have the opportunity to help them refine and improve the platform. Before you register, your school will have to create an account on the site. Your teacher can do this or you can contact FeisFWD through its website to have them send an invitation to your teacher.

The feis is open for registration but is not on FeisFWD's homepage yet.

To register a dancer, the dancer's school must first have an account in the system. Ask your TCRG to create an account or contact feisfwd at dance at feisfwd dot com to have an invitation sent to your TCRG to create an account.

If your TCRG has created an account and you cannot find your school, please email me at idpafeischair at yahoo dot com. The find-your-school search has been glitchy. I will help you and work with feisfwd to resolve the issue.
