Many schools have school styles on their dresses. I’d say half of the schools at any Feis have some personal identifying aspect to their dress. Are they all cheaters too? So much envy on these posts.

If you are making your solo costumes so that judges can identify what school you are from and therefore judge a certain way, you are cheating. It’s the same as giving list of your schools students to the judges.

what school is your dancer in? I'd bet they have a school style as well. Virtually all the dress companies have each schools set styles on their websites. It's easy to go and find out what the set style is.

And McGing dancers all wear super “loud” Gavin’s with the crocheted white flowers pinned to their wigs.

You can pick those three schools out of any number check by costume. I cannot ID any other schools in our region just by their look. That says something.

I really hope this scandal brings to light the abusive and unethical practices by a small percentage of schools in the sport. For some it truly is “win at all costs”.

No abuse is going on here. Many unhappy dancers at other Columbus schools transfer here.

If you go back and reread the text message, it is more related to being worse than Byron partying. Both Ed and Byron are known for this and post pics of their lavish drinking/staying up late.

That isn't on TC's. TC's hold weekly practice. It's up to the dancers and their family on how much they training and protecting their health. But, so many dance mom's live vicariously through their kids and go to far extremes to push their kids to the point of breaking. I see it at every Feis and numerous mom's at each Feis. Lot of envy still peaking out here.
