I agree - no need to pause competitions. These kids are working very hard! Some are nearing the end of their competitive years. They’ve lost so much already because of the pandemic. This is a chance as parents to talk to our kids about handling adversity and unfair situations. Families have a lot of time, money and emotions invested in dance - there’s no need to take this activity away from those who love it and want to continue. Individuals can choose whether they continue to participate or not.
