Subject: Taste of Ireland Show - reviews?

The show has amazing talent BUT it’s just not good entertainment for the price of the ticket. No one is calling a spade a spade here. The choreography is predictable. The hair is awful. The arm movements are so distracting. Are they successful solely based on the names in the show? I just do not get it. There are better companies out there but this one has an incredible social media presence making it seem better than it is. Anyone with me on this?

[> Disagree, but. That's okay. The cast is talented, the choreography is pretty intense, but if your Irish show has "Wild Rover" in it... hardcore Irish dancers aren't your target market... -- Irish grandmas are. We recently saw the show and really enjoyed it. I found it fun and entertaining. I thought the dancing was impressive and high quality.

The show didn't have the continuity of the story that some shows have... but we enjoyed the dancing more than some other shows. I've seen better costuming in other shows, but that didn't distract me from enjoying it.

I was impressed by how long the numbers were and don't know how the dancers do this strenuous/athletic show night after night, and traveling in between. I actually wished there was a cast list on the program, as I wanted to know more about the dancers. I knew who some of them were, of course, but not all of them. I would have liked to see a program with choreographers, etc.

Each to his own. I thought it was a great show.
