Subject: What is the future of our sport and keeping dancers? (serious replies)

What's the next step in terms of retaining dancers? WR Voy had a good discussion too as well. Saw that the largest birth year was 1990, and many dancers have aged out or are having kids dance at this point. Peeps aren't having kids as often too.

Economy is tough but it was tough in 2008-2009 and we made it through.

Love this sport, hope it keeps going. Love the pageantry of a big feis and/or MidAm Oireachtas--even things like the Christmas tree, all the sounds, sights, etc. It's a bit overwhelming but it's part of the fun lol
