Subject: Refeis That Dress

Does anyone know what’s going on with Refeis That Dress? They have my daughters dress and are not answering any of my requests to contact them. They have sold a couple of our other dresses but not sure if they are still running their business? Anyone have any information?

The owner lives in my town & lost DD's cape & custom crown in spite of the dress never leaving their storage shed. (Covid hit right after I entrusted them with the dress.) They blew me off for weeks claiming they would look for the items but kept making excuses for why they hadn't, before going radio silent. I literally paid them $25.00 to store the dress and lose parts of it so I now can't sell it.

It sounds like people are having trouble collecting their dresses. One of the owners left the business and the remaining owner just doesn't care. I would recommend contacting Celtic Academy of Dayton. But understand, they are not affiliated. The owner of RFTD has a child who dances there. The school's teacher is a super wonderful lady and if you explain your situation, maybe she would prompt RFTD to get back with you. The only other alternative is small claims court. I am considering that avenue myself.

Thank you for the information. I can’t believe more people haven’t posted on this forum asking the same question? They had a lot of families dresses…
