Hey gang! That's precisely my problem with America now....I know everywhere has it's problems but we are a huge country who constantly says how wonderful we are....We are <b>big</b> and <b>loud</b> and trying to tell everyone in the world how to do things when we can't take care of our own! It wouldn't be so bad, I guess, if the American government weren't shouting in everyones faces how wonderful we are....'cuz..we're not so much. I don't know much about the whole European Union thing but from what little I've heard it want's to kind of be like us...please don't....we certainly can't be a role model for that system. Bin! I have a big problem with the pledge for the very reasons you state! The 'indivisible' bit gets me because we have federal laws...but sometimes state laws supercede those and sometimes not...why not have laws that are uniform throught the country...if we are truly one nation then we should be just that. -- Eddie Pedantic Gasbag Discussion Group
