Subject: Rivers Foundation Auction and more....

Hi ~

I hope you don't mind if I post this here, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up that we will be having an auction at the Rivers Foundation website beginning this Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m EDT. I will post a link when the board is up and we're ready to go. Roy Dupuis has chosen some new Jack Paradise photographs for the auction (that are gorgeous), and we have some other unusual items too. I hope that you will take a look when we open and find something that interests you. The Foundation has so much work ahead and really is in need of the funding.

Also, we taped the October 2 Rivers Foundation press conference at the Biosphère in its entirety and will have a montage tape produced that will include the press conference and probably at least parts of some of the subsequent interviews that Roy Dupuis did with the press. This tape will be a very limited production, and I am trying to gauge how many we could sell. If you think you might be interested in this, will you please email the Foundation to tell us. Lastly, I wanted to add that we are planning another Rivers Foundation Conference in the Montreal area in the spring. It will be a two day event and that's about all that is certain for now. I hope to have the dates soon, and as I have information, I will pass it along.

The auction is over, we are so happy with the results, and we want to express our thanks to so many who helped us. First, we want to thank our buyers for their contributions and support of the Foundation.

To make a successful auction though, there are so many others who are involved who need our thanks too. Thank you to each of you who bid, even if your bid wasn't the highest! Without bidders, there is no excitement, no fun and no auction!

Thank you to everyone who viewed the auction and who read or posted on the auction notice threads and kept the threads bumped up on the boards. Thank you to Mary Anne for the beautiful mousepad photos, to Linda P. for a great idea and to Scripted for engineering the photos and for handling the emergencies and everything else.

You are all appreciated.
