Subject: To our Canadian friends

I just wanted to let all our Canadian friends know that I am so sorry that the US has such an incompetent military. I can't begin to express how horrible and sad I felt when I read about the bombing mistake.
I have 8 years active duty (first 4 in the Air Force and second in the Marine Corps) plus six in the reserves so I'm looking at it from not only the outside but the inside of the military. It seems the bigger our military gets, the worse it gets.
The newspaper I read here said 'at least one' bomb was mistakenly dropped. For gosh sakes, they don't even know how many??
These unacceptable mistakes are just one of the many reasons I chose to get out and not stay till retirement.
I am truly sorry.
