Subject: I think I have read that producers and writers never read or even accept unsolicited scripts or stories lest some time in the future they be accused of plagarism, theft of ideas, or leave themselves open to other law suits.

Are you saying you have to have an agent to be able to send a script to a television network? I thought you could just mail one and they would look at. If they liked it they would somehow contact you abouut using it. Then, they would have you sign something. I guess I was total wrong wasn't I.
