Subject: Omigod, thank you, L. I was thinking about Shirleym, but thought she would be in PA. Thank God she and Shirlhub are alright in NYC. And thank God you are okay there, too, inasmuch as you can be. Hugs and prayers to all.

Everything shut down here, the university I work for, all the other colleges and elementary schools and high schools, malls etc. and they closed the major highway between here and there. We had to take backroads home because we are so near the airport. We are back at work today but still stunned. -- Trish, 08:53:31 09/12/01 Wed

I think we may share the same employer, only different campuses. We're back to work here in Oakland and dealing with some distressed faculty who lost friends and students who have also been shocked.

My parents live near the crash site and it's been pretty busy on the mountain. And I often drive through your town when visiting Shirleym.
