Subject: PJ, thanks for the explanation. I couldn't figure out why there seemed to be so many employees in the restaurant at that time of the day--now I know. What unfortunate timing for that meeting.
In reply to: PJ 's message, "I, too, thought about Windows on the World...I knew about this restaurant because I watch Epicurious on Friday afternoons on the Discovery Channel. The Friday after, I couldn't figure out why they weren't showing it and then I remembered that Michael Lomonaco (sp?) was the executive chef there. So I went to the Epicurious.com site and read his message and was directed over to windowsontheworld.com. He lost many friends/employees that morning. He reported that usually staff aren't there that time of day, but on that particular morning they were doing a breakfast meeting for 300. He was trying to figure out exactly who was lost and how many, because all of his records were destroyed in the incident. Haven't been over to the site recently to check on their progress, though." on 04:18:28 09/27/01 Thu
