I'm one of the few I've heard from yet who just couldn't get into Alias. Granted, the 3 Tenors in the Forbidden City were on for an hour before it started and I had a hard time dragging myself away, but I had a hard time buying into the characters. I'll give it another chance next week when it's not in competition with Domingo, Carreras, & Pavarotti.

I'm always glad to see a new Star Trek and this one looks like it might be livelier than some -- more like the original in many ways. I'm not a big Scott Bakula fan but I'll give him a chance. I do think the T'Pau character has promise and I really like the crewman who couldn't pull himself away from the showgirls, LOL.

Crossing Jordan with Jill Hennesey is my pick of the season's newbies so far. I always liked her on Law & Order and the characters seem to be working for me. Miguel Ferrer is too perfect as the boss who talks to his hand puppet.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent looked pretty good. I liked the detectives and their boss. It had good guest stars. It felt like it was just slightly off-pace but they may not have their sea legs yet.

Has anyone caught The Chronicle on the Sci-Fi channel? What a hoot! A fun show.
