Subject: Mutant X

I saw most of "Mutant X" last night (missed the first 15 minutes). Visually, it was interesting and the fight scene at the end had me laughing with delight when that thing the bad guy was swinging went through the mutant and hit the other bad guy. The keystone cops go futuristic. LOL

The show has no emotional depth or energy for me, no intellectual stimulation there either, but I don't think it's supposed to. After all, it's based on a comic book, isn't it? Douglas O'Keefe is his dry, "bad" self It's so nice to see him again and now, knowing what a great person he is in real life it's an extra treat. :-)

All that great color and movement of the actors - why did they let LFN get so stagnant in that area the last two seasons. Nobody moves better than Roy Dupuis and Peta Wilson (JMHO) and they just had them standing around looking tired. What a waste.

Well, I'll tell you, MX kept my attention and my TV is set to show the WB station instead of USA network when my VCR goes on now (I was taping the credits to see if I recognized any names)

So... I guess I liked it! :-)

[> [> Hi Andrea :-) Unfortunately, the credits at the end were smooshed (technical term) to the side to make room for a preview of next week's show so I couldn't see them well. I'll have to watch the credits at the beginning of the show next time too. I think maybe that's where all the people we know are listed. -- Shirleym, 22:41:29 10/10/01 Wed

[> I'm looking forward to checking it out, Shirley. The premiere got bumped locally by Cal Ripken's farewell bow--which was perfectly okay with me. -- Susan W, 22:46:13 10/08/01 Mon
