And would be willing to provide a foster home to one, for arond 6 1/2 months, starting in mid-December, thru June of next year?
I am desperately in need of help here: In December, I will be leaving the country to live overseas until next summer. I cannot take my cat with me and dearly need to find him a loving home, with someone who will take good care of him, for that time period while I am away.
I know no one here at home who can do this, and have no family who could do this for me, as all live out of state and none would take a cat (or already have dogs or several cats) as it is. Boarding him for 6 months is out of the question, I can't have him stuck in a cage all that time, it would kill him.

I love my Motor, he is so dear to me, but I have no choice in this and must find him a temporary home, until I come back.

He is approx. 1 1/2 yrs. old, fully grown, large, a gold and white tom, with all his vaccinations up to date (as of August of this year, he has them all) and he is neutered, too. He is strictly an indoor cat.
Is there anyone here, that lives in the MD area who might be willing to foster him for that time period? I will make sure money for his care is provded. What he needs is a safe and loving home from December until next summer..
