....Of yourself and of what you let your children watch and hear. Burton expletives are very minor in comparison of what they will be subjected to during their lives. Family values should be taught in the home so that your children know to make the right choices in the face of all types of diversity. But PLEASE don't censor BC or this board; he is what he is and we like him that way. When he posts here, I want him to say what he means and not have to worry about what he says. Besides, this is AW's domain, let her censor it as she sees fit. If you want to censor a board; start your own. And that's all I have to say about that...

Dear Cowardly,
If you don't like what your kids are reading here, don't let them. Sesame Street is on PBS, not voy.com/4204.
To quote Pete Townshend,
"This is a ROCK AND ROLL concert, not a fucking tea party!!"
I have NEVER read a serious rock publication without the odd swear word used. It's parents' responsibility to filter what they want their children to see. Most of us here are adults and I see NO reason to ask Burton to censor his biography excerpts for your kid. The book will come out anyway and will be available in book stores. Will you call the store and lay the guilt on them that your kid is swearing? I think not.
