I had a long talk with Kirby last night (Gedon was with me as a witness). There was another minor problem in the channel that Kirby was involved with -- along with some other PofL players. I decided to take the issue out of the channel and took him to a private one where I (and Gedon) could discuss a few issues with him.

I told him what I thought of him -- that he had the potential to be a good player if he choose to become such, but that he was not acting as such -- and he told me some of the things that has happened to him since he joined PofL.

I have been in two separate scuffles with him and just about threw him to the dogs. However, after lasts night's talk, I may have misjudged him. I think he really does want to be a valuable member and has just not been given the correct opportunity. I may just be gullible, though.

He started in a bad spot (learning from GB) and ended in a bad spot (swearing in the channel). He also has a problem with attitude that he will have to grow out of before he can become a member.

Gedon and I listened to him for about two hours. I think that we can all learn a little about PofL and our players from what he said. I would be glad to give anyone my thoughts if you are interested. Let me know.
