Subject: I NEED SOME ADVICE...

I bought a dress on line from a girl by the name of Amanda LaPere.. when i emailed her about the dress, i asked her if the dress doesn't fit when i receive it, will i be able to return it.. i was assured there would be no problem. So i sent her 650. for the dress and when it arrived it didn't fit my daughter so i emailed her that day, and told her i would be returning it the following day and it would arrive June 26th.. we'll it did ,and i couldn't reach her my email are my phone.. i left her several messages.. I was really upset we were suspose to do a pageant we had no dress and no money to purchase another one with.. we found another dress 2 days before we left to go to the pageant we had already paid for. She finally emailed me back the day before we left telling me she was out of town and when she got back on July the 10th she would pick up the dress from her post office and send me my money. we'll we got to the pageant and she was there.. so my daughter asked her about it.. after crowing.. she again assured us she would send us the money on the 10th.. we'll we got home and i was told by her post office she had not picked the dress up and they had try to deliver it three times and left three messages on her door.... so by this time i was really mad i emailed her and she emailed be back over a week later telling me her father had been sick and she would send my money!!! we'll we called her house this past tuesday and her mom had said she was at Gingerbread Nationals.. she was very rude and hung up on me.. but she didn't hang up all the way and i could her her talking to someone in there home telling them she had told a lie and Amanda hadn't left yet and how she knew i would just give up because it was to much trouble to sue them...... i couldn't believe this.. i was shocked!!!!! The dress has been at her post office since June 26 and now i was being hung up on!!! I'm really up set..I'm not quite sure the best way to handle people like this.. this is the very first time i've been burned.. i've always bought clothes over the internet!!
