2�..Glenda the Good Witch From Wizard of Oz Dress�.this was custom made it is not the cheap costume material�.It has a big bustle in the back of chiffon with stars on it! Size 10-12�.$50.00

3�..10 Dickies, that work great for the head shots when an extra under top is needed or the port shots! They are black, white, navy and royal blue! Styles of turtleneck, polo, open oxford shirt( brand new in pkg), battenburg lace ( so pretty) and round neckline� I also have pics of them so All 10 for $10.00

4�..13 Scarf�s�2 brand new with tags still on them, each very different and unique! Great for headshots! Some designs are black and white leopard print, gold foil and black velvet, long brown one with 3 fox tails on each end (Michael loved this one), black lettuced leafed, shaded blue silk with shiny threads and mirrors on it (new), purple with curly Q�s and sequins, silk (new), black sn white polka dot, gold fish net, tied on the ends, and an ivory one with fringe on the ends�.Sold

5�..5 Funky belts! Fits anywhere from a size 8 to a junior�. Metallic pink with a metallic green buckle, a brown leather one, a hard to find wide silver one, adjustable to almost any side, just slides through�. a pleather royal blue slider belt, a blue jean one and a black velvet sweater clips to wear on the back of a top or sweater to tighten them up�. All for 5.00

6�� A Funky turquoise head scarf with these little flowers all over it�looks like a 50�s headscarf�sheer material�.2 Hawaiian leas, one orange rubbery feel and the other pastel silk flowers�.3.00

7��.a Dark colors cumber band with adjustable clips�.a silver bag that we used with a Peter pan outfit that she threw sand dust out of��and a long silver sequin bag trimmed in white fur that was a Santa Bag for her Santa Baby! 4.00 all��

8��a light Blue ruffled Parasol�..Great for ports!�. 5.00

9��a bag of Beautiful and Creepy BUGS! We used these in several head and post shots! Most of them are th chiffon kind�and very detailed not just a bag of plastic bugs��.There are grasshoppers, flies, lady bugs, centipedes, butterflies, spiders, lizards and lots more! 5.00 for the bag��.Sold

10�.11 pieces of real looking fruit�.some do have a little glue on them, we did a big fruit hat with these! 3.00 for the bags��

My child used to be a Big name,and we never went home empty handed thanks to these guys!. First, you need to get her a Great coach( Donna Butts) and a great make-up artist(Gayle Burkette-OR- Troy and Michael), awesome clothes and awesome pictures. But its kinda expensive!!!

Miss teresa katie is pretty ( i just competted wid her in fh usa) but she does lose sometimes like all of us! She got 1st runner-up at florida's hometown usa in nov 2003!! out of about 19 girls! she lost to a begginer! i hope to comepete agaisnt katie soon we are friends so this proves that anyone could win or lose she is not a cheater!!! form ur friend form orlando florida!

I'm a new mother to pageants, and my three year old daughter has only competed in one national, but any way, I've seen pictures of Lisa Katlynn-Pabst, and I was wondering what the judges see in her. I've seen alot more beautiful girls compete before.

I happen to think she is pretty. If you would ever see her compete, you would know what they see in her. Pageants aren't judged just on facial beauty. It is a total package of clothing, modeling and projection. She has it all. I love to watch her compete.

But just for the record, Katie is a beautiful child. Her hair is always PERFECT, clothes are PERFECT, modeling is PERFECT and she is facially BEAUTIFUL with awesome big brown eyes. My daughters think she looks like Brittney Spears. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but she is a very sweet, kind child.
Somehow I doubt your child is 3, more like 10-12 and you are jealous.
I think that a grown adult that could be so vicious towards a child should be added to the official list of child predators.

My daughter is ten, but has never competed against Pabst and I have also seen her pictures and beleive she G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S even if she is on every pageant site in the world. What big loss last weekend? What did she get? She didn't win at AGG either but didn't do bad, she was still pretty high up in placing I think. She is beautiful and I don't think I had ever seen her lose before AGG.

What do the judges care about how much money someone brings into a pageant? Judges do get paid, but not on commission! Here is some info people! PAY ATTENTION!
H&M people DO NOT bring contestants; Contestants BRING the h&m people.
Directors DO NOT care who does your hair. Directors DO NOT care if h&m people come or not. Directors are concerned with having a good turnout and running a good pageant.
Pageants have been around MUCH LONGER than h&m people. I have been in this 10 years and this h&m thing started about 8 years ago and was strictly seen (and not very popular) only at very large Nationals.
Then pageant moms and other related people saw a way to make some extra money; other pageant moms who are not talented at h&m found a solution. It caught on and now you see h&m at prelims!
H&M has nothing to do with the directors. GET THAT STRAIGHT!!
Furthermore, to the RETARDED person above: You are JEALOUS. Don't kid yourself.
AND, if you think that pageants are so easily controled by h&m, heavy competitors and etc then FIND ANOTHER HOBBY!
I truly believe that pageants are causing some of you people to develop Paranoid Personality Disorder and you should seek professional help.
FINALLY~ LPK loves pageants, she is excellent at them; her mother is extremely talented at just about every aspect of putting a pageant child together.
DO YOU THINK THAT BECAUSE SHE WINS ALOT SHE SHOULD QUIT DOING THEM????????? If your child won as much and loved doing them would you quit?? I dont think so.
Maybe if you stop worrying to death over what other people are doing and focus on yourself and your child then you might see some improvement. Maybe then your child will win big and you can come back on here and read all the nasty remarks made about you/your child.
I just really wish that the moms that are so determined that pageants are rigged would go away and leave it to the people that love them whether they win or lose.
This is impossible as there are always going to be immature moms that would rather blame everyone else in the world then to accept the fact that they lost. Get over it, fix your problem and shut the hell up!

Have you seen Teresa after her daughter loses to someone else for a higher title? Now, she is the one who needs help learning GOOD sportmanship.

To the original poster, LKP wins because she's a pro at what she does, like any other job. You do it long enough and often enough, you become GREAT at it, no matter what you look like. Pageants aren't about looks anymore, they are about having money (total pkg),confidence from being on stage so often and sometimes politics.

About having fits over losing-- I never said Pabst is a Saint. She is a mom just like everyone else, and who hasn't thrown a fit atleast once?
My point is that it is wrong to single out someone like this with such negativity especially when it is a CHILD.
The 3yr old above is probably more mature and kinder than her mother. So sad and pitiful. Hopefully this child will somewhere in her life learn to have good manners, decent morality and a little class.

They never did.
They are about building self confidence, setting goals and reaching them, good sportsmanship, making friends, striving to be the best you can be, spending quality time with your child and so on.
Never were they about picking out the child that was born with the prettiest natural features. They are about taking what you have been given and using it to the best of your ability.
Maybe you should start your own pageant, but be sure to put on the application "only natural beauties apply. If you have thin hair, freckles, an odd shaped feature, are overweight/underweight, too tall or too short, longwaisted or shortwaisted, have thin lips and a big forhead PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE PAGEANT AS YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED".

Please inform me (since you seem to possess this vast knowledge of pageantry and everyone's personal opinions) what I should do if my daughter wins alot and other pageant moms dont agree.
I think I will put her Lori Clark dress on ebay and get a used old one. We will throw out the T&M pictures. We will use the Sears ones instead. I will have to call her coach and cancel. My daughter loves her, but she will just have to understand. I do her h&m, maybe I will start letting her do it herself.
We will keep our fingers crossed at the next pageant in hopes of a loss and promise to be so excited for someone else to win.

I'm all for stating opinions but saying such a nasty thing about a CHILD is far from opinion. I can't believe what I'm reading here. I've never seen this young lady so I looked her up and she's such a cutie, what a beautiful young girl how dare you bash a child at all let alone in public. different judges and different pageants look for different things. As I read from one reply if you do it a lot you get better at it. A semi-shy child will go into her first pageant a bit shy and maybe a bit nervous but the more she keeps up with it the sooner that shyness and nervousness goes away. Your child is only 3 and as far as I've seen there are some very rude and crude "pageant moms" out there don't become one of them. Realize that each child is beautiful and that even those girls that seem to win all the time do lose sometimes. If you're asking how your child can improve I can understand that but the little part at the end about seeing a lot more beautiful girls compete was really uncalled for and I hope it was just one of those little mistakes some people say but don't mean to sound so harsh. I guess I'm just one of those people that sees every child as gorgeous.

I am pretty sure I just recently saw a birthday banner for OL and she was turning 4 just in the last couple of months. So if it is your age as of this month then she will be in the 4 group unless they allow a grace period for recent birthdays.

it all depends on the hair itself. if it really curly you could give her a perm, without the rollers to help straighten it and take out the frizz. if it's just a little curly then you could just take a flat iron to it. hope this helps.

Well then a little later that little girl's mother had a national pageant and Debbie M.'s daughter Scarlett won a big title? These girls both beat huge, awesome contestants at each others pageant but yet neither of them can take even the smallest title anywhere else? Things that make you go hmmm..........So now the dirtiest, crookedest, lying, cheating dirctor of all time Charlette B. has teamed up with Debbie M. and the $hit is gonna hit the fan. I have news for Miss Debbie, if you thought you were being questioned before from your little scam, you ain't seen nothing yet. Your name will now be MUD for sure if you rub elbows with the felony queen. Charlette has committed so many crimes they are going to soon catch up to her and you will be in there with her. Looks like you will both get what you deserve now.

This is true. CB is the worst and if people have forgotten and go to her cheatfest then they will soon be reminded. I am sure all the posts from her last pageant are in the archives of this board. She almost went to jail. She also was not going to pay all her winners like it said in the paperwork. It said no prorating and all prizes guaranteed on stage. Then she paid NO ONE. She finally started writing bad checks left and right and some got no money, just the ones that threw a fit. Later though, she did end up paying the rest I think but it took a year. I think she finally made good on most of the bad checks she wrote. But at all the pageants in the past that she had, she didn't. Go ahead and do this pageant if you want to risk not being paid a dime if you win.

I have been thinking about bringing this here for days, I really want to take my daughter, but I have held off sending in the deposit because of what you all have said and today I saw who won the photo contest. Isn't RD CB daughter??? I remember her on AGG paperwork when it first came out.
Can anyone clear this up?
This is not a bash, I just don't see where a family member would be allowed to compete in the photo contest let alone the actual pageant???

No way,!!!! RD, is Leysa Delph daughter. Charlotte does not have daughters that does pageant.She will not let her grandchildren do them.

From what I gather through the grapevine DB, the director of the sunken Ultimate Beauties and America's Precious Miss who now directs Southern Elegance or something like that, is helping CB the director of Dynasty Dolls now so watch out for DB's friends DD or friends to win all at Dynasty, just like they did at DB's KY double header flop.

I called the hotel this pageant is being held at And the ballroom has not been reserved yet!! The pageant is in Jan. Shouldn't the room have been rented by now. She does all this advertising on the boards, And calling the moms telling us who the vendors are. Alarms are going off.

I haven't been on these boards in a long time. I agree with what you are saying. My daughter has competed in pageants for 8 years now. We have decided to get out of them now. She has always done well, and not because she is a big name ( she's not). But now, no matter where we go all the big names show up and we are lucky to get anything. We have done what everyone has told us to do. We tried on her facial beauty, but then was told to get those clothes, we did. Then was told get the pics, we did. Guess what, still getting beat by the big names. My child will never be a big name. I don't spend enough money like these other people do. Do you think your children are winning on looks alone? New clothes every 6 months, new pics every couple of months. We cannot compete with you people no longer. I have a life and other things to do.

I swear I could have been the one to post this message. This sounds so much like my daughter and I. We have been competing a few more years than you but we feel the same way. My daughter is way beyond the age where she understands that sometimes she deserves to not place very high, but on the same hand, she's also old enough to know when she deserves to place higher and doesn't because a name child is there or someone knows the judges. The expense has just gotten way out of hand too. I remember back when you would pay 200.00 or so to enter a pageant maybe 50.00 to the best hair and make-up people and win beauty and walk away with 700.00 cash!!!! Where oh where did those days go? Ahhhhh, I love to think of those years gone by where we could pay Bently a couple hundred and never lose photogenic, now it's more like a couple thousand just to get pictures that *might* hold their own. It's crazy!!! We've cut way back on our pageants because of this because my daughter doesn't want to waste the money. She loves them but it's sad when the adults like the H&M people, directors, etc are the ones profitting and not the kids. And the kids aren't profitting not even from a good time most of the time because if their mommies aren't stressing them it's someone else.

OMG! I was reading the rest of the board and just saw where this repost came from and I can tell you that the judges PM got for their nationals last year plum sucked. Sorry that's so blunt but it is true. I choose not to compete my child but did indeed go with a friend whose child competed just to see what this system was going to be all about and I was floored at some of the things that happened. I do have to say that the directors when above and beyond to make things right but the judges screwed them and if they make that same mistake with screwy judges this year I doubt they will ever be able to have a decent system. We are once again sitting it out but will go watch and see if it's any better this time. Sign me, an Unbiased Observer

Examples of what you mean by screwy judges please. We went to state and placed rather well and thought everything was right on. The Supremes were right on, (and no my daughter was not one of them but still felt the supremes were who they should have been) the awards including the crowns, banners and robes were wonderful (my daughter keeps asking when she can go back and try to win one of them huge crowns and pretty princess robes), the gifts were above and beyond. We had to miss nationals but would like to know what happened since we have been way out of the loop pageant wise.

As many of you know 8 year old Hannah Eubanks of Mississippi has Leukemia. This was discovered in Oct.
She is still at St Jude hosp. in Memphis undergoing treatment for her cancer. She and her mother will be in Tn for 8 more weeks (including Christmas). Hannahs mom is a single mother to Hannah and her 4 year old brother.Please keep them in your prayers!

Have you seen the photo contest winners? Is there not a pageant left out there that the big names are not going to invade? No matter how new, no matter how small, the big names are desperate and greedy for more and more and are hitting all the new pageants this year as well as the old. I had several new pageants on my list to try hoping since they were new we could go against new blood and not have the same old same big names swoop in and I have seen all the big names winning the photo contests for them so no place is safe from them. There are a few big names that seem to have put alot into scoping out the newer and smaller pageants with intentions of having some easy wins. These kids that compete every weekend and sometimes 2 in the same weekend are running out of pageants. They have won them all last year and if they want to compete this year they have to do all the rest of them I guess. There needs to be more novice pageants and more level pageants. If there is a kid that wins every pageant why in the world would I want to waste my money putting my little level one up against them? I am not afraid of competition but when a kid won't lose there is no since in throwing away your money. I might as well just go hand CF and CC $400 and stay home that weekend. I think if they have a big turnout and with all the photo contests they have they could have at least two levels.

Boy, you said it perfectly and I've always felt that way too. But then you'll get the big names to say, hay, if you can compete, then don't. But do they think that's fair to our Level 1 kids, NO! The mom's just do care. They get so greedy, they can't stand not having their child compete to swoop up another win. For what? I don't know. I think the parents are the ones that are in it for themselves and not the kids no matter how much the kids love it. YOU CAN HAVE TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING! And why would you want to do it every stinking single weekend? Come on moms get a life!

I agree as well!! The more pageants that their children win at, the mroe greedy they become. I know several kids in our area that compete every weekend. I even had one mother (GJ) say that "My daughter has always beaten your daughter and ALWAYS WILL!!". Now what kind of comment is that? I'll tell you what...one where a mother is greedy and tries to have her daughter beat out whoever she can. And I also don't know why she feels that her daughter needs to compete every weekend and they do. Sometimes 2 in a weekend as well. Go figure. I think mothers like this need to get a life!

For anyone who missed it -- Anonymous, 19:31:29 04/26/03 Sat

All of the recent attacks on T&M have been perpetuated by Wendy Jordan and her followers. Wendy and Mari Mueller figured, since they were old friends of Julie Anderson, that their children were shoe-ins for titles at Celebration Nationals. Mari went to far as to expect that Julie would give her daughter Erin the Grand Supreme. Mari, in a fit of rage after her daughter won only the Mini Supreme title, made a public display in the lobby and screamed that Julie had "embarassed her daughter in front of her clients by only letting her have the mini supreme!" Wendy's dughter did not receive a title, and IMO rightfully so.
Wendy and Mari then began looking for excuses as to why their children didn't win because they were unable to accept the fact that there were more deserving children on that day. They beleive that T&M had control over Julie and decided the outcome of the pageant. They started all the rumors about the photogenic judging and began posting all over the boards that T&M controlled the pageant. They opened new bash boards and have been bashing T&M incessantly for the past two weeks. They have been calling other mothers who attended the pageant and are spreading lies and rumors.
Unfortunately, what Wendy does not know is that one of her lies was of a serious nature and may result in a lawsuit. Wendy went so far as to name a number of her clients as witnesses to an act that did not occur at the pageant and each of her clients will be receiving a call from an attorney in the near future. I am sure her clients are not going to appreciate the fact that she is using their names and have involved them in a legal suit in which they may be forced to hire their own attorneys to defend themselves.
Wendy thinks that through all these lies and rumors and the bashing that she will bring T&M down. What she doesn't realize is that T&M having been in this business for years and truth be told, they are very good and highly successful at what they do. Michael is an extremely talented hair & make-up artist and will always have a huge following. Their photographic business is the biggest and one of the best in the industry. Their pageant systems grow every year and Fabulous Faces is now one of the largest in the country. Contrary to popular belief they hold no interest in Sandi Henry Designs (although she is their part-time secretary) or Christina Marshall Designs, or any other designer. Michael does however design some beautiful clothing, and this service is avaiable to anyone. They do not own the bravo, the predictions, or any of the voy boards. They do not hold any interest in any other pageants, nor do they have any control over them. They do not hold any controlling interest over any photo retouchers. They do own a clothing store and a hair salon, but these businesses have nothing to do with the pageant industry. It is true and it is no hidden fact that thier success has allowed them to live in an exceptionally nice home, which anyone who has been to the studio can verify.
T&M have been bashed for years and years by anyone and everyone who cannot accept the fact that they are so successful and so influential regarding the trends in pageantry. There have been disagreements with Butler's crew, Toni's crew, Dawn's crew, other pageants, other photographers, other designers, and other pageant moms. Pageantry is a volatile business, someone has to win and someone has to lose at every pageant (and the latter makes people mad!) and T&M are used to it. No amount of bashing, lies or rumors is going to overcome the fact that they are exceptional at what they do. Wendy Jordan has no more power than any one of these people and she can continue to bash but T&M aren't going anywhere. T&M will always be regarded as experts in this business and will continue to receive referrals regardless of what is said on these boards. Ask for great pictures...someone will always mention T&M, ask for great H&M... someone will always be there to say Michael is the best, ask for an awesome national title to hold... someone will always say Glamour Doll and Fabulous Faces is right at the top.
My suggestion to Wendy is to get over the fact your friendship with Julie didnt have any control over the outcome of the pageant. Your assumption that your's and Mari's child would be given titles was wrong. Your lies and false rumors will come back to haunt you. I have always believed in the saying that what goes around comes around. I would strongly suggest you move on.

I know for a fact CK is a cheat and a liar. Her daughter is a good coach but such a snotty attitude that I am shocked children like her. CK will also contact other directors to pressure them into making arrangements for her clients too. Beware of any pageant you see this wrinkled prune at!!!

I can't believe that people are such troublemakers. I was at CK's Pageant and I didn't agree with all winners but most were right. All supremes were just as I called them. The small group that stood at the back of the room during crowning was the only troublemakers and tried to disrupt it for the rest of us. That group was sore losers and CS. I expected that from them but what shocked me was LM's mom hanging out with them all weekend. What was she thinking? She is a director of a large system now and her child has always been the local one that my child and many others have looked up to. She was a leader for many children to follow and her mom was one to be respected. I hate to see TM even associate with these losers that are only going to give Leila and her a bad name. Wake Up Teresa, your name is valued and you can still save it.

If any of you cared at all about my child and her name like you say you do then you would not have typed her name on here much less the other boards. I asked two days ago to leave us out of this. That we were happy with our win. As for where I sit in a ballroom that would be none of your business but I would like to correct you. I was sitting on the back row as I do at all pageants during crowning. I was not standing as you say I was. I said nothing negative about any of the winners only showed suprise at some who did not. You people are not going to pull me into this hard as you are trying.

Please be considerate of my child and leave her name off these boards.

First of all CK couldn't even supply enough chairs for everyone to sit then yells at the audience to be quite and sit in a chair or go to the back of the ballroom because she wanted all the aisles clear! VERY RUDE LADY! These are facts not bashing by the way.
Secondly, we sat near the back and saw LM's mom and she never once showed any emotion through crowning which I thought was amazing since obviously her daughter along with a few others in the 3 year old group got totally screwed. I guess when judging goes this stupid she would be happy with her win since so many other good kids that outmodeled their group got nothing.
This was the biggest joke pageant we have ever been to and we're going to make sure that next year before CK has it we remind everyone what happened this time. You need only fool us once!!! This pageant was not what it was advertised as and clearly Amber's students won to keep her looking good. They were not the best. If you were not there get a copy of the tape and see for yourself! I'm sure the girls that won supremes were thrilled, but that doesn't mean they deserved it. The best were not crowned at AMBG State!!!!! People should know about this system so they can stay the heck away.

AH has won AMBG EVERY SINGLE TIME she has entered it. Is a past GS several times over. Now what would make you think that her students wouldn't win it? Of course they will. Also, before entering this situation at nationals this year, find out what men gurus are bringing their kids to enter. It is being told that they are calling sucking up to the directors to get their kids wins there too. This is a situation that needs to be checked out before wasting any time and money and that is my humble opinion.

Everyone has been warned over and over about this pageant and the wacko director, but everyone keeps handing over their money. I just don't get it. If you look COI up in the dictionary, this woman's picture is there (probably that bad 1980's reject glamour shot LOL). I can't believe that the national directors allow her to continue. I mean, HELLO!!!! Your daughter's students should not be competing in your pageant! Please tell me any other pageant that allows this, it is totally ridiculous. I can't believe it goes on AND PEOPLE ACCEPT THIS AS BEING OK! What is wrong with you??? Also, how many of the best dress winners were wearing those scary CK designs? I'll bet quite a few. Funny how anywhere else they are laughed off the stage in those rags. I think this pageant is nothing more than a showcase for Amber's students. It is somewhere that they can get a "big win" since lord knows it isn't going to happen anywhere else. I hope that people will eventually learn their lesson and see this woman for what she really is. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HER?

Designers and coaches have NO PLACE being directors and having their clients compete! It's a conflict of interest!

All children have "names"! (and you apparently don't know this child's because you spelled it wrong) The rumor started this weekend by a coach and her group that they knew one of the judges. That is absolutely not true! They had never seen the judge before in their lives. The girls were encouraged to meet and mingle with the judges after the competition was over at the banquet held in honor of the judges. This was clearly stated in the paperwork and announced several times by the director since all events had already been scored. One of the judges had brought her family and L and the daughter met and introduced themselves in the hallway before they went in (and there are several witnesses to this meeting who are also very disgusted by these accusations). The girl asked her mother if she could sit with L so that they could get to know each other. The next day, the girl came back to watch crowning after having met L to see how it all turned out since she had never attended a pageant before. Later, the judge came back to sit with her daughter who was sitting with L. The judge was in the singing/modeling industry or something like that and had never been a judge before so she had no idea how that would start this ugly talk. In fact, when L was called out as 1st Alternate, the judge truly thought L had lost because she didn't know how the overalls worked or any of the winners or scores. L's scores for supreme were several hundred points higher than anyone else's, no one else was even close. There were six judges!!!!! Even if they knew a judge (which was absolutely not true) one judge could not have pulled the pageant with overall scores that varied by hundreds of points (each judge for each event had something like 300 points) L was incredible this weekend and deserved her title. It is one thing to say that, in your opinion, a child didn't seem to deserve her win but another to say the child/parent rigged a pageant. This is a slanderous lie directed to the judge, the director and the family. Since you are so sure that L did not deserve to win, why don't you share with us just who you thought the winner should be?

the judge you are speaking of had judged many of the girls before not just one or two ect!!!! come on why all the UGLY is that all you have marked in you comp??? so sad!!!! and we have been to many pageants that we have been that NH was at and wins and do you know that none of those judges were there come on the child looked GREAT and DID GREAT.

The best were not crowned at AMBG State. Anyone that ever considers going to this pageant better get the tape and the truth will prevail. The strongest kids in several groups were very clear. This was supposed to be a full glitz pro-am pageant with modeling counting beginning the 19-35 month group!

Amber's students clearly did not fit this criteria, but they still won. 6 out of 8 supremes were Amber Kiser's students! That never should have happened! The AMBG National Director should pull this director before she destroys the system's reputation.

No, very polished children did not get "the shaft" they won. End of statement. Your beef is YOUR very polished child didn't win. 25% of the beauty scores was your introduction. Many kids did not shine in this area - it made a difference in who won what. Lohr is beautiful, smart & very polished. You are mad because she is good & she won. The director MOST CERTAINLY SAID at orientation, "do not speak to the judges until competition is over. After that time, feel free to mingle with them" Don't believe me, call her. Her number is in the program book. Lohr did not sit with a judge the whole time of crowning, as she was sitting near me for a good portion of it.
There were a bunch of quality kids there who all could have taken the title in various groups had it been their "day" to do so. This was Lohr's day. You are upset only because your pick didn't win. Sore loser. Nice exapmle to set for your students. I know you are a coach.

Yes but O B/P was a higher title, it was pulled before divisions but yes it only paid as much as a beauty title so even though it was a better honor, everyone would have rather had the group.

Oh boy Michael Butler even better. Everyone knows he is the biggest cheat in the business. If he is going then we all know deals have been made and who will win the big titles, that is after OL,HF,LKP have been pulled because they have already been promised the biggest wins. Butlers girls will have to take whatever is left after that. He doesn't bother to go where a pageant is fair. Watch and see. I spent alot of money at this pageant and my child was clearly robbed, ask anyone who watched. All the big names won and the farther they traveled, the bigger the prize. There were kids in the wrong age groups, and of course they won too.

I have never seen so much bitching on a predictions board but that is all that is on ALL the predictions boards. Bash, bash, bitch and moan.lol
To the new mom, you will learn that beauty whether natural or created means anything at a beauty pageant.lol Even at the facial ones. It is projection, total package, personality and stage presence. Some kids just have IT and some kids have everything but. LKP seems to have been the all around favorite for years, the judges just fell in love for whatever reason even if she is not everyone else's favorite. There are a few kids that judges go nuts over and they seem to have whatever it is that it takes and maybe I could see it too if I ever had a chance to sit at the judges table. Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame and while some can't lose for years then all of a sudden it stops, and vice versa. I have seen many big time winners eventually fall but I think the record holder right now for cons. years of winning would be LY.
And to the person who says they have been in the bus. for years, you have alot of insight and I wish you would write more. I really enjoyed you and you made alot of sense.

The pageant is good size and fair and fun. You'll love the party. You get your scoresheets, the master is posted and the judges stay after awards. The price is low for a National giving away a lot of cash and nice prizes and the crowns are awesome. see you there. Oh, she usually posts numbers as it closer on the NES question board

I heard that the judges were not qualified judges. I would not waste my time this lady always has mess ups at her pageants to benefit who she wants to win. She messes up on Novices or adds all of the scores together for Beauty including your photogenic scores. Always a screw up!!!!!! I also heard she plays favorites to her winners. Pays for some of them to do other pageants but then snobs the rest of them. Go figure.

We are planning to go this weekend. We will be in the 12-23 month group. It sounds like a good system, so we are trying it out. We have been to several pageants where I thought the judges weren't qualified, so it is no surprise that this could be the same. Beauty is so subjective, so we will see. How did you hear the judges were not qualified? No one should even know who they are yet. Also, it is not her fault if her winner's moms lie about thier winnings to be eligible for novice. We will be there.

Well if you consider to kids to these people have not even won her pageant. One of the judges has only been around pageants for 6 months or so and probably has never even been to one of her pageants. Let's just put it this way it is a wantabe pageant coach that her daughter can't even win a National Pageant, and 2 of the girls she coaches their moms. And as far as the novices go it is not hard to post a list of people whom are running for Novice then maybe people would not want to get caught in a lie so they would not do it. But if you make it easy for a person to lie then I guess they will. What about the time she crowned Beauty from the Supreme Scores I think I seen that on one of the boards last year. Not to mention how she goes around bashing other systems. if you do this pageant and don't like the way it turns out don't say you were not warned.

I agree, it's too early to predict...lots still in photo contests and many who don't do the contests, remember some won fees off at the regional and some win guestbook drawings too. It's almost 2 months away still
